Mechanical Damage to Roofs focuses on mechanical damage to roofing materials including composition, wood, metal, tile, built-up, SPF, fiber cement, and slate. We take a concentrated look at the characteristics of mechanically-inflicted damage and contrast that with naturally occurring hail impact. This photo-intense presentation and handout will help students distinguish mechanical damage from other types of damage.
