Haag's Tim Marshall invited as keynote speaker at 4th Severe Weather Conference

The University of the Incarnate Word. the National Weather Service and the Urban Science Initiative, Inc. will join forces to present the fourth annual Severe Weather Conference on Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13, 2010 in the Bonilla Science Hall on the UIW campus.
South Texas Severe Weather Conference is produced by the Urban Science Initiative, Inc., the National Weather Service Office Austin-San Antonio, the National Weather Service Office Corpus Christi, and the Meteorology Department at the University of the Incarnate Word.
The conference is a two day event with keynote speakers and breakout sessions on Friday and a SkyWarn basic and advanced workshop on Saturday. The conference is designed for emergency managers, first responders, medical personnel, storm chases, broadcast meteorologists, students, teachers and others interested in meteorology and severe weather. This year’s theme: Tornadoes and Flash Flooding.
Keynote speakers include Tim Marshall, Phil Klotzbach, and Eve Gruntfest.
