Collapse on the set of the movie Titanic
Haag Engineering Co. consultants were called to the movie set of the feature film Titanic. Ironically, the 90% scale movie set sank during construction. The set, which was supported by a series of cables and styrofoam uplift blocks, was unable to support itself during various phases of the draining of the water tank below the "ship." This project is one example of the ability of Haag engineers to take on a variety of high-profile assignments.
